La Grange d'Henri is a stylish barn conversion set in the quiet and private grounds of La Bellevue, a French-Anglo family home located  in un village de charme between Chinon and Saumur.

Tastefully renovated and equipped to a high standard to ensure home-like comfort ‘La Grange d’Henri’ is charmingly characteristic of the region.

Exposed tuffeau stone walls and wooden ceiling beams combine with tasteful furnishings to provide a relaxing environment; idyllic for a couple seeking a secluded retreat, yet wish to remain conveniently close to local amenities, restaurants and the famous Loire Valley Châteaux and attractions.

Foot paths and cycle routes are plentiful amongst the surrounding vineyards and un-spoilt countryside and a short distance away other activities can be enjoyed; water sports, riverside beaches, canoeing & kayaking.  Micro-light and hot air balloon flights are also a possibility.  

From La Grange d'Henri visit daily fresh food markets, weekend Brocantes (flea-markets) and the stunning towns set along the edge of the Loire river, while nearby are the historical towns of Angers, Azay le Rideau, Bréze, Candes St. Martin, Chenonceau, Chinon, Fontevraud l’Abbaye, Le Puy Notre-Dame, Montsoreau, Montreuil-Bellay, Saumur, Richelieu, Tours, Ussé and Villandry... all of which make a fabulous day out.

Weekly Tariff - 7 night stay

      £325      between: 31 Mar 12 - 25 May 12

      £350         between: 26 May 12 - 08 Jun 12

      £400        between: 09 Jun 12 - 13 Jul 12

      £445      between: 14 Jul 12 - 31 Aug 12

      £400       between: 01 Sep 12 - 14 Sep 12

      £350      between: 15 Sep 12 - 03 Nov 12

NB : Not included in the above quoted tariffs is a Taxe de Séjour of 0,70 cts per person, per nights stay at 'La Bellevue'

Terms & Conditions

~ To confirm a reservation a 50% non-refundable deposit is

    required, the remaining balance is payable 8 weeks prior

    to arrival.

~ As a cautionary measure against any damage & breakages to

    La Grange/La Grange items a retainer of 150€ is required on

    arrival.  The retainer is refundable after an inspection

    and La Grange keys returned on the morning of departure.

~ La Grange d'Henri and its inventoried equipment have been

    prepared to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation,

    should La Grange and its equipment not be left to an equivalent

    standard at departure, we regret to inform you a cleaning

    charge of 50€ will be incurred.

~ Arrival to La Grange d'Henri is from 17h00 onwards.

~ Departure from 'La Grange d'Henri' is at 10h00.

~ During a 2 week reservation a clean, change of bed, bathroom

    and household linen is included.

~ La Grange d'Henri is not suitable for babies or children.

~ We regret no pets are allowed.

~ Smoking is not permitted.
