Weekly Events Local Markets Full of colour and a hive of activity, the local market is a joy to experience and still very much part of the French culture.  Don't forget to take a bag with you because you won't be able to resist buying the delicious goodies on sale!  Held in the morning, the markets usually pack up to go home by lunchtime. Brocantes Brocantes are antique/flea markets where, on occasion, a real treasure can be found.  Generally held on a Sunday, local towns will take it in turns to host these popular fairs. 1st Sunday of every month - Montreuil-Bellay 2nd Sunday of every month - Montsoreau 3rd Sunday of every month - Chinon

Annual Events July: Grand Prix, Le Puy Notre Dame Le Puy Notre Dame proudly held its 11th Grand Prix Retro, sadly the weather wasn't with us but the event was nonetheless hugely supported.  Take a peek at some of the photographs taken of the fabulous vintage cars and motorbikes, many of which had been driven from the UK and other European countries.
